Egyptian wristbands

During our study of ancient Egypt, we made decorative gold wristbands out of toilet paper rolls.
First, we painted the cardboard with a lovely gold, sparkly paint (it makes me want to paint everything gold!). Then added jewels - including two little snake eyes at the base.

The kids had fun wearing these around for a day or two.
