More Easter prep!

One day during the week before Easter, we went on a nature hunt for symbols of Christ.

We then displayed them in vases on the kitchen table.
Some things inside: A rock to represent the stone in front of the tomb.
Something green to represent eternal life.
New life to represent the resurrection.
Wood to represent the cross.

Another day we talked about parables of Christ.
In this pic, Lil Sis had just found the "lost coin" :)

On Thursday we talked about the Last Supper and then had a dinner with foods from Christ's time.

Hummus, flat bread, olives, dried fruit, hard-boiled eggs, and other fruits/veggies. Yum.

One evening we went to Michelle and James' house to dye eggs and do a service project.

Michelle made a yummy batch of sugar cookies and the kiddos decorated them, then delivered them to a neighbor.
