Europe 2012: Paris ... our final day.

Three things I loved about Paris:
1. It's big. The art is big, old and awe-inspiring.
Check out this statue in Luxembourg Gardens.
Above is up close, below is from a distance. The scenery and staging was WOW.

2. Everything is so detailed! And each detail tells a story - whether historical, religious or personal. After another picnic breakfast (this time at Luxembourg Gardens), we toured the Notre Dame's interior. Oh, and that was after I  misidentified a cheese as "pepper jack" - BIG mistake.

#3. All the food tasted soooo good. Every day Alex bought gelatos. Twice from the place above, that artistically forms the cone into a blooming rose. Plus, you get two flavors - one scoop for the inside, one scoop for the petals. Yum.

Our final night, we ate at a three-course meal at a fancy restaurant.
Cuttlefish & guacamole, suckling ox, and parley icecream & strawberries later ... we were stuffed.
But the dining is such an experience there! A three-hour experience for this particular dinner.
Loved it ... and loved my date. :)
