G-Ma volunteered to teach a "Life Skills" class once a week in our Poe Gnome School of Learning! For our first week, her and G-Pa took us tomato picking. They're getting ready for their annual salsa making session, and we want to help (because we want to eat it later!). We learned what to look for when picking a ripe tomato ... and that it can be tricky to find good ones.

We also learned a very important lesson: "You got to be careful when you're picking tomatoes because it might rain!" ~ Big Sis. So true! Out of no where, the clouds let out fat drops. It only lasted a few minutes (and that was the only time it rained all day) -but we were out in the field looking at giant zucchini and pumpkins, so it took us a while to get under cover ... which is why we looked like this by the end of Life Skills:
