Found the tree at the place just up the street again ...
So we celebrated with hot chocolate (naturally).
Lil thought she wanted to put on the star ... but then she changed her mind.
Big was happy to do the honors.

Headed to Alex's work party ...
Where they had their first close encounter with Santa Clause. Big felt shy, but sat on his lap and smiled. Lil screamed and shook when he came in the door - terrified. She has since told me that she likes Santa Clause, and wants him to come to her house, but just never wants to sit on his lap. Makes sense to me!

that is THE MOST cute santa picture! A tiny little thing on a huge lap. I give huge props to kids who are brave enough for it! Simi watches with interest from a distance. Venice cries wretched tears at the THOUGHT.
