Snow for a bday girl

She's FIVE! She looks like a five-year-old snow bunny. When the girls play house, it's often snowing in their pretend land. So, we thought we'd bring those dreams to life for her b-day. Off to Government Camp we went; and we had the whole tubing hill to ourselves!

I mean, Alex and the girls had the hill to themselves ... the little man and I spent most of the time in the warm van. We did join in for a short stretch of fun though - and took a few pics of his first sights of snow:

Please note Lil's facial expression. She thinks she's so funny ... For a chunk of Big Sis' birthday, Lil decided it'd be great to be "grumpy" in every picture. If I pulled out a camera, she pulled out a frown. I even have it on video. When the snow trip was done, I showed her the pictures and she cracked up. She laughed so hard and said, "I'm grumpy! Look, I'm grumpy! Show me more of my grumpy face!" So, here's another:

Here's a snowman they made. The peanut butter M&Ms melted a bit, making a colorful face.

And we ended the day with Calamity Janes milkshake and fries. Yum.
The birthday was a success - we wanted to make memories, and I'm positive we did!
