We played a spontaneous game of "High Five for a five-year-old" .... and the birthday girl loved it. She'd simply jumped up and gave high fives to her bday guests. She's easy to please.
See the excitement in her face? She was SO excited the whole day - and still is.She asked for a "giant cookie with a pink, sparkly 5" on it.
Her grandparents spoiled her like crazy ... I mean, CRAZY:
Grandma and Papa got her her first "big girl" doll.
She's still thinking about what to name her,
but she's leaning towards Nellie.
G-Pa and G-Ma got her books. Lots of them.

I loved ameilla books when I was a kid! I have not read one in forever though. I am going to the library this week to get one and read it to my kiddos!
