The latest and greatest

This little pumpkin turned 15 months recently! She went in for her doc appointment and her latest stats include a 19 lb. 7 oz. weigh in and she stretched to 29 in. long. - so she's in the 10th percentile for both. Here are some of her latest and greatest words: Apple, Jesus, cheese, night night, hi Dad, shoes, bike, up. She's still signing a bit. Her newest sign is "please" - and she does it with fury when she's desperate. She's a snuggly bug who loves her family and gives us long slobbery kisses. She's very smart - knows exactly what we're talking about and wants to be a part of everything. She loves to be outside and wants to pick all the cherry tomatoes off - no matter what color they are. Her non-stop hunger continues, though she's getting more picky about what to eat. I guess she's not a baby anymore, she's officially a toddler.

This one proudly announces she's three and a HALF. She stresses that half. She is a talker {seriously, non-stop chatter box}. She loves school {in our garage}. She knows her letter sounds and is now starting to put a few together - she constantly asks how to spell words. She enjoys being read to. Right now we're reading "Charlotte's Web" along with a new basketful of library books each week. She's taking swim lessons and has a thing for sea life. She's so caring and sweet. She wants to draw or paint pictures for everyone - and then to find where people live on a map. I'm impressed that she knows the names and locations of several continents, countries and states. She loves to be a leader and protects her little sister. She's a social girl who loves to play dress up, dance and act silly. In fact, I just have to put this picture on. Here she is playing dress up with one of her fellow Sunbeams from Church ... yes, they're the same age but are on opposite ends of the growth chart ... but no, their difference in size doesn't get in the way of their friendship. :)
