On Labor Day weekend we drove up to Seattle and bunked at the Stumph's home - which was without any Stumphs (sad). BUT, Shar and Syd were there - and they had loads of fun prepped and ready to go. The first event was a laundry basket full of water balloons. :)
The next morning we stopped at Pike's Place for a Piroshky - we didn't mind waiting in that line (it wrapped around the corner and went on for a bit) ...
We took our tasty treats to see the fish fly - but those fisherman had the day off! Bummer. Next time!
We continued our journey north to the American Girl store (pics to come) ... and on the way back, we stopped at Capbela's.
Where E! got his latest prized possession: a bow and arrow set.
Congratulations to E! for wearing big boy undies now! We're thrilled to say, "so long" to diapers!
As his reward, he wanted to sign up for a soccer team; but we had a hard time finding one for 3-year-olds ... so, he's taking archery lessons from his dad. The good news is: it can happen at home. The bad news is: we need a real target, since we've dented up our fence a bit. This is a serious weapon!
I now question why the Capbela's sales guy told me it was age appropriate for my 3-year-old! ha. Good thing his dad is a scoutmaster, and is serious about safety!
