One of the few new items purchased for this year's school:
Scriptures and cool marking crayons.
They are SO excited about their new scriptures, and are pumped to do scripture study each day. They love finding the books, chapters, verses; they love marking words that teach them; and most importantly, they love to read their scriptures! Lil Sis is our new reader, and she often starts a verse and reads as many words as she can - then Big Sis finishes up the verse. It's awesome.
We're still using the picture books of the scriptures that our church publishes, and below the pictures are scripture references. So, we usually pick one or two to look up. The scripture lessons coincide with our history lessons on most days; on the other days, we're studying gospel topics and look up verses for that topic.
