"I Know a Lady" and "Nana Upstairs & Nana Downstairs" are about caring for the elderly. So one day we compared and contrasted the two stories, using a Venn Diagram.
E! and Lil and I took to some creative car play with a long brown packing paper. They decided what to draw in our town: a gas station, houses, Costco, parking lot, police station and park ... you know, the basics. Lol - you can tell what store we frequent.
Here's a rhyming game Lil used, taking words from a BOB Book she was reading. I think it was good for her to see them out of context. She matched the words that rhymed.
This one cracks me up ... what do they do when school is out for the day? They play pretend school, of course. Big Sis likes to be the teacher, and she keeps her students on track.
