Those stickered stones from last year's Valentines present came in handy. We used them to make sentences, and add punctuation. This year, Lil Sis could sound out most of the words; and Big Sis got creative with mixing and matching them.
Our little reader. See his headband? Grandma gave it to one of the girls a few years ago - it's red with black scottie dogs wearing white bows. Every day he watches his sisters get their hair done, and I guess he decided he likes hair accessories too. He's great about leaving hats on, and now we're adding Rambo-styled headbands to the mix. I am going to hunt down a camo one.
