Animalistic!

After hibernating and migrating comes foraging. Some animals need to hunt for their food - whether deer looking for that last scrap of grass sticking out of snow, or eagles looking for a tasty mouse. The girls loved hunting like wolves, and our little man caught on quick.

 

Speaking of being animals - the little guy wanted a horse ride around the living room the other day. It just made me laugh. I love to see the sibling bond in action.

We also discussed different homes for different animals.
Then we pulled out blocks to construct creative homes for pretend animals.
