For her 6th birthday, she asked for a Mommy/Daughter date. I think Mommy was equally excited! We went to see the Nutcracker Tea at Portland Community College. It was her first experience with a live ballet ... and she was in heaven!
She may be the Big Sis, but she's still a little girl. The seat kept swallowing her up because she didn't weigh enough to keep it down. She laughed and laughed about it.
She even met two of the gingerbread baking dancers, after their performance.
The next day, she wrote a report about our date. It's a little hard to read (you can click on each photo to enlarge them), but I wanted to put it up here anyway:
