Christmas EVE

We had a wonderful, traditional Christmas Eve party at the Rognon's - with special guest Aunt Shar!
We ended the night with our nativity puppet show (skyped for viewing pleasure to Gg and Joe Joe).
We started the party with a project Aunt Shar brought:
paper chains out of the cutest Trader Joe's Christmas bags.

Then came the gingerbread house!
See how much candy ended up on the house?
Just imagine how much ended up in Lil's tummy.

We put a new spin on the tradition of making a gingerbread house with G-Ma
(and it was Daddy's idea): EAT the gingerbread house as soon as you're done decorating it!

A few books were read, and games were played.
Aunt Shar hid packages all around the living room - that was super fun - and she gifted our family with a neat cube game. She always finds the perfect educational and fun items!

G-Pa and G-Ma worked very hard and made the girls two bright, cozy blankets and matching pillows. Plus, books, fairy dust, hand sanitizer and more. Our little man got a cool car track, and in the bottom picture he's holding one of the cars and making a vroom noise.
