For our "1,2,3s" time, Big Sis got a Singapore Math workbook (it's the first curriculum based textbook we've purchased). It's stretching her, but she seems to really enjoy it! She's learning about "number bonds" - or numbers that go together to create a bigger number. Here she is working hard:

Lil Sis is practicing counting groups of 5 to 10 objects. She had a manipulative-focused activity each day, and by the end of the week I could see a big improvement!

She learned to double-check her work on the day she placed popsicle sticks in colored bowls with numbers written on the bottom.

Here she is putting beans into our egg carton container. I placed a small piece of paper with a number in the bottom of each slot.
