This was when the tent took over the living room ... just for play. The little guy and I slept inside, in our own cozy beds when it came time for the "real" camping.

He's excited for future campouts.

Settin' up camp. For their first experience, they stayed close ... in our backyard. Alex proudly told them they passed the test, and are ready to camp off-site next time.

Aren't they cute? They played Go Fish, sang songs, and Daddy told stories.
Then the flashlight went out and they slept soundly.

Aww, what a fun idea to practice camping in the backyard before camping off-site!
Where have I been? These are the cutest pictures of your backyard camp trip. Does everything match? It looks like you coordinated everything. You're wonder mom for sure! Super cute!
He will be the proudest dad at the next daddy-daughter-ward campout! My dad used to take my sister and I and those are the greatest memories of my childhood. I could totally see Robb setting up the tent, making smores, telling stories and then telling everyone to hop in their own beds because he'd want to sleep in his cozy bed! so Kudos to Alex.
