This week, our Monday night Family Home Evening was about prayer.
We talked about the four parts to a prayer: 1. Addressing our Heavenly Father 2. Thanking him for our blessings 3. Asking for things that we or others may need 4. Ending in the name of Jesus Christ. We divided our white board and let each girl take turns writing or drawing (or both) on the board things they are thankful for, or things we'd ask Heavenly Father for help with. I thought their non-prompted responses painted a picture of their priorities, concerns and their life - and I know I'll enjoy looking at it in years to come.

oh! I love this prayer chart. great visual. But I'm laughing about being thankful for jelly fish...make sure no one is looking to cuddle with one on your trip (robb has a funny jelly-fish-sting story that I've heard a hundred times).
