An amazing woman in our ward crocheted this blanket, and he cuddled in it during his baby blessing. For the blessing, babies wear all white to represent their purity. Men who have priesthood authority stand in a circle, take the infant in their arms, and announce the baby's name for the record of the Church. Then, the Holy Spirit guides the priesthood holder to give a blessing. Alex was the mouthpiece on this sacred day. We heard and felt of Heavenly Father's love for our baby boy, the specific timing and purpose of his earthly experience and some of the talents he will have.
