It's time to ditch the binki for Lil Sis - because that's what happens when it's nearly time to become a big sister. She handled it like a pro! With a morning pep talk from Big Sis, she came to me this morning announcing binkis were going to the babies. So, right after breakfast, we started the project:
Decorating the envelope with great care. We wrote "My Binki ... To: Babies ... Love: Lil" on it. She spiced things up with stickers and coloring.
Sticking in the bink ... "Bye bye!"
It's ready!
Big Sis took this action shot of putting the envelope in the mailbox ... I must admit, I was a little surprised when we came home from Costco, checked the mail and the envelope was gone.This is the real deal now.
She had been down to just using the bink at nap time, and I'm happy to report that her first nap was a success! She called for me several times, and I went in once - where she said "Binki" and when I asked her where it was, she smiled and said, "Babies" - and that was the end of it. Night night! If it continues to go well, we can cross that off the "to do" list to get ready for Baby Boy!

Sorry about the crazy week. glad you wrote it down to remember later...I think my advice was to just try to forget it all! I was hoping that Vicadin would help block out your memory. LOL>

I remember when Bryce got rid of his binki~I thought it was going to be a nightmare, but we found something that he was really into and he traded with us.
I know that I have been a huge slacker on VT but I know that me just having a baby and yours on the way I was thinking of just getting some cards out. Sound good to you? I know that you have had some craziness going on lately and you are in my thoughts.
