My Nana passed away this week ... I miss her terribly ... Here she is at her 90th birthday bash (the last time we saw her). So, today I'm thinking of her - which makes me think of:
* Go Fish * poodles named Fifi * hummingbirds * purple and yellow pansies * peanut butter and syrup on banana pancakes * AA narrow shoes * house coats * gold slippers * sparkling eyes * quick witty remarks * that smile when she grits her teeth * Evanston, Wyo. * St. George, Utah * "I'll call you in a few days." * letters with perfect penmanship * Spring Breaks and Thanksgiving weekends * cleaning the top of the fridge * The Mormon Tabernacle Choir * Billy Graham * Utah Jazz * Wheel of Fortune * eggs in spaghetti sauce * shaking out placemats * avoiding ladders :) * long chats * photo albums * soap operas * crocheted afghan blankets * generosity * xo xo xo *
Could go on and on ... better not though, it'd just cause another tissue outage at our house. :)

What an amazing woman. 90 years! And what a rare and most wonderful thing to be so close to a great grandmother. I'm sorry for your loss, Jessica and to all those who are grieving.
Jess,
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a loved one, especially one who has lived such a long and I'm sure a wonderful life. It sounds like she will live on in your memories, what great one's you had.
