Avery experienced Dr. D’s annual roller skating party at Oaks Park this week!
Watching G-Pa and Avery make their first lap around the rink had me cracking up. It took about 25 min. to go around that time – there was a lot to look at, in addition to learning how to skate. 
It didn't take long until she was ready to go on her own.

oh my heavens! she looks so grown up even in the little Fisher Price looking skates! Roller Girl Aves!... she's gonna be mighty popular during couples skate! I can just tell these things!
(by the way...grandpas and dads make the best skate partners... for life! it's true.)
