Nesting

I've officially began nesting - but this pregnancy's nesting has been different. That burst of energy and desire to scrub the floors on hands and knees has not hit me (yet). In fact, this pregnancy's nesting cravings have been accompanied by many more price tags and dollar signs than sponges or cleaning products. *Hence the photo with the golden egg. :)

So far, I've been able to suppress my seemingly primal urges to purchase the baby gear I’ve been eyeing online or in local boutiques … but it may not last much longer. We “NEED” a baby sling and baby swing – but I can’t decide which ones to get. So, I guess I’m asking all my mama bird friends to egg me on – what baby products do you love that I can not live without?

I like the fisher price swings. They changed them since we bought got ours but the one close to it is the jungle one. It can swing either sideways or towards the front. Really any swing that can swing in 2 directions is great since all babies are different and prefer to swing one way over the other.

I have 2 slings that I could not do without. A Peanut Shell for when they are really small, www.goo-ga.com and a mya style sling when they are older. The mya can be found on lots of websites just google it or look on ebay that's where I got mine. I used a sling a lot more with the 2nd baby since I needed my hands free for my toddler.

I also love my nursing cover, if you are going to be nursing. I got mine from, shabbybebedesigns off of ebay. But they have their own website with lots of cute things on it.

This was kinda long but I hope it was helpful.

I agree. The nursing cover and the swing are my top 2. I also would die without a bouncy seat.
Oh... and my favorite shampoo that always makes me smile is Grins and Giggles Oatmeal. Just yummy for those little ones.

We have the Fisher Price Nature's Touch Cradle Swing that swings in both directions, and Luc loves it. That's how he takes a two hour nap each day. As soon as I turn off the swing, he wakes up. I also love the Baby Einstein DVD's. Luc used a bouncer seat a lot too, and I feed him in it since he can't sit up yet on his own.

The BUMBO seat . . . great for babies who want to see the world but can't sit up yet . . . or for containing babies who decide to army crawl at 4 months :)

And DEFINETLY agree with the mya sling and the peanut shell. LOVE THEM!!
