We can't believe our little pea pod is six months old! She now weighs a whopping 12 lbs. 7 oz. and is 25 in. long. We need to beef her up a bit because she's not even on the charts for her weight, but she's in the 25th percentile for height. We celebrated her six month b-day with her first taste of solid food (besides rice cereal): PEAS! Here are some classic facial expressions as she tasted the delicious veggie. (P.S. Jessica and Avery will be in Portland next week so the blog won't be updated for a bit.)

Hey, this is Kendall and I have to ask you when you started feeding Avery rice cereal because I started feeding Elise a week ago and I just wanted to know what made you start early becuase I know you and I both wanted to wait till 6 months.
