Pumpkin patch

G-Ma took us Poe gals to a new pumpkin patch this year. It started out with a secluded brown paper bag lunch in a teepee {we just may have snagged it, and blocked the entrance with our double stroller ... hee hee.}
The hay ride had us feeling like it really is mid-October.

Big Sis decided not to go down the slide ... leaving it to G-Ma to prove this "Kid's Zone" as safe and fun!

Both girls felt serious about the rock climbing wall.

Inside the hay maze ... :)

Oink.

Next, we went to a local farm for a train ride ....
The train dropped us off at a pumpkin patch.

Lil Sis became fanatical about picking up pumpkins. Her poor hands had cuts and turned a sore red color from grabbing the stems. It took the cashier a while to coax her into letting go of her pumpkin to weigh it. In fact, it's been more like a teddy bear than a jack-o-lantern.

What a day! Thanks, G-Ma for taking us! We had a great time and made many memories!
