I know we're crazy. But crazy can be so much fun. Mom and I went on a road trip to Utah for the long weekend, all in the name of shopping. Utahns don't realize what they have! Tai Pan Trading received the bulk of my cash, and filled the Jeep to the brim with plastic wrap.

Mom has a thing for baskets. This one called her name ... I begged her to hop in ... and she did!

We got to meet up with James, Michelle and their beautiful children.
This was my first time meeting Elena!

One minute after this photo, this little guy ran his head into the marble corner of this ledge. The wound looked deep and left James and Michelle dealing with insta-cares, superglue in his eye, and an early return to Idaho.

I got to see one of my besties, Bonnie, meet her two-month-old, learn about iPod applications from her four-year-old and chit chat with her hubby. So fun. Wish I had taken a pic of our long-time friends, the Markisich fam (who are always fun hosts!).

One of many laughing moments on the trip: Mom trying to get the cap off of her Jeep. (Mom, don't be mad at me for putting this picture on. We need to remember the funnies!)

Oh, and we met up with James and Michelle at a McDonalds in Tremonton - isn't he so cute!?

Suddenly I'm dying for a trip to Utah! This looks fun and expensive to me. Glad you're bad safe and sound. :D
The part I find funny about the Tai Pan picture is that your Mother is carrying a water bottle. You must have known in advance that you were going to be there for those FIVE hours. :)
Your niece and nephew are so adoreable!!!! you can surely tell they belong together.
also, before I even read the caption, I was laughing about the gas fill up...you Oregonians!
We had so much seeing you!!!! So glad you guys found so many fun things to bring home!
Tai Pan is a dangerous store. I don't go too often for fear of overindulging.
I'm laughing so hard on your comment on my blog! on the gloves.
