Did you know: One in every five Christmas trees in the United States comes from the county we live in? Truth! So, for the first time since we've been married, we got a REAL tree. We walked through the backyard of a local home just a few streets away from ours, and picked out the tree that sang to us. Isn't it a beauty? Yes, it was freezing cold outside - but that didn't stop crazy Alex from wanting to carry the tree home. So the girls and I drove to get breakfast while Strong Man walked it home and then got started on Christmas lights. What a manly man. :)

you gotta love that we live in Oregon and we can actually do cool things like go pick out our own Christmas trees. Sounds like fun and that tree is beautiful...its it a spruce?
