Change

“The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes ... This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and non-existent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now.” That quote came from the prophet, Pres. Thomas S. Monson at General Conference last month. To read the rest of his talk, click here.

This Sunday, I’ll teach the Young Women lesson about change. A butterfly's life cycle (from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly) symbolically demonstrates the metamorphosis we each need to make in our search for happiness.

I wanted to bring something fluttery for the girls. The theme is just too cute! So, check out these hair clips made with floral arrangement butterflies – I think the girls will love them! And I’m excited to clip the leftovers in my girlies hair! (I hope none of my YW know about this blog and see the handout prematurely! If so, please keep your lips sealed!)

So cute! they will always remember! I want you to be MY Young Women's leader...its just a little late for me, but I can steal your idea for my girls! Though we already had the change lesson...i'll try to fit it in somewhere. point is, you are so fun and creative.

oh! good job on the homemade babyfoods! Its SO much tastier than the jars. (I think they add tons of water to those nasty things.)
