GPa and GMa's ward had an AMAZING Christmas party - in Bethlehem!
We dressed up as if we were headed to Bethlehem to pay our taxes during the time of Christ's birth. The cultural hall had transformed into that busy city, with bakeries food stands and hot items being sold - like gold, frankincense and myrrh. It was a memorable activity, filled with the Spirit.
After the activity, anytime a church talk or video mentioned Bethlehem, E! would shout, "I've been there!" It all seemed so real to my little ones. Especially the Roman soldiers at the gate - E! got quite worked up about paying the right amount of taxes.
