School ... somewhat

From mid-March to end-April, life is crazy in our house! Everything seems to have an April 15th deadline around here! School went on "Spring Break" a lot longer than initially planned ... but the beauty of homeschooling means we learn as we go - in formal and informal settings, right!?
The pic above is our Old Testament cards - because we just finished the OT manual. The kiddos drew an important OT individual on each card; and Big Sis wrote at least 3 sentences about the person on the back of her cards. Then we strung them together - and they've been dangling from our ceiling for a while. :)

Here's Lil Sis' alphabet. She circled her "best" letter.

Here she is doing some greater than, less than math.

And the kiddos have been playing store to test Big Sis on practical math skills.
They set out items for sale, label them with post-it price tags, add up the grand total, then pay a little bit more than the total so they can decide how much change is needed to give back.

Hee!
