Homeschool: Math at multiple levels

I'm getting a bit better at making lessons applicable to each knowledge level present at our kitchen table. I know I can improve a ton, at the same time, I'm happy with how our math went last week. So, here are a few examples of how each individual met their math challenge. One day we did face cards (if you don't know the story about Alex in seminary with face cards, please request it sometime!). Big Sis picked two and added them together; Lil Sis picked one and practiced writing the number; and E! enjoyed looking at them, flipping them over and throwing them on the ground.

One day we played a game called, "How many make 5?" With a divided circle, the girls put a few numbers on each side and tried to come up with as many math equations as possible. Big Sis wrote a math sentence, while Lil Sis wrote one number on one side of the line, then the other number on the opposite side of the line.

On another day, we did dominos. I found a printable worksheet on Pintrest (love that site!) and they went to work. Big Sis added the two sides together, Lil Sis counted and wrote each number down, and E! even tried to line up the dominos in the correct spots.
