The girls have had a pirate obsession lately ... They build "ships" and chase each other around looking for treasure and squealing.
Math games involve rubies.
Ex: If pirate A has 10 jewels, but then pirate B steals 6, how many are left?
Acting it out is the funnest part.
They've practiced their "P's" and read "Pirate Mom" along with a ton of library books.
They learned the difference between fiction and non-fiction pirate literature.
Alex just finished reading them "Treasure Island." - I think HE really enjoyed it, and so did Big Sis.
