Coconuts everywhere! And that song, "You put the lime in the coconut and mix it all together ... you put the lime in the coconut, it makes you feel better!" was sung/shouted from the tops of our lungs and playing in the back of my mind throughout the entire trip. It only seems appropriate to have a post about coconuts.
We found them at the beach.
We watched that smiley local woman take a machete to this one so we could drink it.
At the condo, we used the "meat" of it for smoothies.
That smiley woman's church building was a nice place to find shade to sip the milk.
We also colored on coconuts at the luau .... where there was bowling with coconuts. lol.
