Tax season was CRAZY this year. Alex worked 14 + hour days, and the kiddos and I had a lot to do. Sorry for not updating the blog! So, for a recap, here are the milestones from the month of April:
The little man learned to army crawl!
The little sister decided to ditch her diapers!!!! Her reward: pet fish.
She really wanted a puffy-cheeked goldfish, but four pet shops didn't carry them any more. So, she picked three "glow fish" and named them Chicken Nugget, Jellybean and Sheela.
General Conference. These toilet paper roll figurines of our First Presidency crack me up.
You should hear them play pretend with them. It goes something like this:
"Eyring, you say the prayer."
"Next, Pres. Monson you sing a song."
"Now, let's go eat lunch."
We've been doing school here and there. It's been a bit spotty - but they're learning so much in non-traditional (but ever so natural) ways that I sit back in awe sometimes.
We had to get ready for our ward's youth formal dinner's etiquette training - I was to help teach napkin folding skills. The girls and I hooked up the computer and learned together. We all had fun.
