For the first time in many, many years, we went to the Rose Festival parade! GPa and GMa staked out spots EARLY in the morning, and even prepared food so we could make breakfast burritos (top that off with hot Starbucks steamers) .... perfect! The morning started out cold, but quickly warmed up - to the point that Alex has rosey cheeks from the sun.
See, we really were cold at first!
So cute. After the Rose Festival, it was home for a nap and then off to the next major event: a ballet recital. Check out our beautiful ballerina butterfly:

I totally forgot all about the rose parade...that saturday came and went for us. It wasn't until days later that I even remembered or thought about us missing it.
