We just finished the process of buying a minivan (that's right ladies and gentlemen, I drive a minivan! I just keep telling myself that - trying to let it sink in). The process was long - and the girls were so good during all the trips to see vans. One day, we found this inside carousel close by; so we stopped for a bite to eat and a ride on fancy horses. I think it made up for the hours of car shopping.
The girls did a "still life" art painting project. First we went to a local farm and enjoyed the u-pick Iris section. Then, we looked at a book of Van Gogh art to find his Iris painting. Then, they took turns making masterpieces. :)
Oh, I wish for more sunshine so we could get to the state park near our house again ...
Ballerinas at dance class. :)
Big Sis had a ballet performance at a park - basically, a rehearsal for their upcoming recital. They'll have costumes and more professional props at the real deal. At this point in the dance, they're a caterpillar and Big Sis is the head, holding antennae (she kept coming home from class telling me she was the head of a worm - I didn't really understand until I saw them in action. lol.) She's the cutest worm head I've ever seen.
