Happy 90th birthday, Nana!

Nana just celebrated her 90th birthday – and it was such a blessing that we were able to party with her. We surprised her with our visit; and I think that Avery made her day. Nan and Avery played games together, colored together and Nan took Avery on several wheelchair rides. Nan's upper body is so strong since she's been wheeling herself around! We were very impressed!

The last picture is of some of the party guests: Jes and Avery, Uncle Howard (Nan's brother), Uncle Bruce and his wife Cindy (Nan's son) and LaRae (Nan's daughter). There were more guests too - including all of the staff and residents at her place who came out for icecream and cake. Nan even had a big bouqet of balloons from the staff and they decorated her door with cute banners and signs. We delivered a extra large card from the Brells, Stumphs and all the Rognons; it's hanging on the back of her bathroom door so she can see look at it all day. :)

Ok... I don't know how you pulled off the road trip. I'm certain Trenton would NOT be asking for more! Great pictures, and glad you made it back safe and sound.

Fun pictures and videos. Avery seems to have a special relationship with Nana. It was fun to see her birthday celebration. :)

Thanks for sharing photos from Nan's b-day surprise and your road trip. Thought of you throughout your travels and just knew you'd make it a very special time for everyone. Way to go! ~Love, Shar

Thanks for the hair comment. I'm still not quite used to it so it's weird that people that I see everyday do double takes when they look at me. But it's growing on me. Thanks again. Have a good day!
