Christmas in the air

Finding the perfect tree - in freezing temperatures.
We got our tree just a block from our house ... $15 any tree! I love Oregon! :)
We went with our pals, the Elias, but none of my pics of their sweet family turned out.

Little marshmallow.

Once we got the right size tree stand, the girls were so infatuated with having a tree inside the house. We had a picnic dinner near the tree that night - and just stared at it. Decorating it was even more exciting!
Putting on the star .... I love this pic.

Family pictures ... so crazy, so fun.

PaPa and two of his granddaughters.

A preschool Christmas party and all the sugar that comes with it ... These turned into decorated trees (well, Big Sis' and most of the kiddos' did look like decorated trees - Lil Sis just ate it up before adding ornaments and sparkles).

They also made the mice at the preschool party. Cute huh? They didn't last on the tree too long; the tails tempted them.

Holiday arts and crafts.
That "cheese" face still cracks me up.
Three besties, from three different states, all at one place, at one time - talking babies, catching up and seeing each other in person!

15 BUCKS???!!! ok, that is a pretty good trade off for freezing weather. Its brisk, light-jacket weather here...but the christmas trees start at a minimum of 100 dollars and those are the charlie brown ones. If you want a real full tall one you are paying twice that.

The Besties all look so beautiful. and all mommies! (hot mamas)
