Birthday Princess turns 4

We started her special off with a preschool bday party at our house.
The letter of the day was A and the number was 4 -- appropriate!
So after an apple hunt, the girls decorated their bags, did worksheets and had snacks.
Then they played animal charades, house and opened presents. This skirt, from one of her besties, is a HUGE hit. Now they have matching skirts to wear to ballet.

In the evening, we had grandparents over for waffles (her choice for dinner)
and cake, icecream and more presents.

GPa and GMa spoiled her like crazy!
She's very excited about a special invitation for a sleepover and craft party!

GPa helped hold down the wild ones. Hee hee.

More presents from Grandma and PaPa Poe!

Grandma carried this puzzle throughout her Hawaii trip so Princess could play with it.
It's 4 feet tall!

GG and Joe Joe sent this sweet card and cash! It was funny, because she didn't actually know what money looked like at first -- guess we use the debit card nonstop so she hasn't held the cold hard cash before. Ha! She's tickled pink to stash it in her savings account.
Thanks, GG and Joe Joe!

Mom and Dad got her Little House books and the Season 1 of DVDs, some clothes and a new dance leotard with matching tights. Fun fun.

Mom made her a two layer cake with raspberry filling. Other than the sparkly 4, I thought it turned out ok (though the sparkly 4 was her favorite part! so I shouldn't talk bad about it!)

Birthday wishes!
