Since Lil Sis is too little to carve pumpkins this year, we decorated hers with facial features from a Parents magazine. She picked out which eyes, nose/mouth, ears from a pile of cut out mags - then I taped on. It was good review of the face. Alex came home and saw the pumpkin out of the corner of his eye and jumped! lol. He finds it creepy ... ok, it is a little bit.

While Lil and I made pumpkin faces, Big Sis matched words with pics and practiced writing. She breezed through it - I think she liked the boost of confidence.

Next up, Big Sis "made colors" - this was a big hit!

Then she made math problems out of her scientific experiment.
She felt proud of herself (rightfully so)!

Hooray! Day 7 is done, and Big Sis is no longer contagious!! I have one more day ... Let me just say, that throughout the week the girls have not said, "Let's go to the store!" or "Let's get out of here!" The only time Big has been sad, was when she had to miss her Sunbeams class at church. Really, they've had such fun playing at home - which makes me happy that they love our home.
